Simon Funnell
ECB Level III Coach
Simon Funnell is the founder of Cricketwise.
He has been coaching cricket for a decade and is a well-established coach in Sussex. Simon has coached Sussex age group sides,
several clubs sides (including Eastbourne CC and Newhaven CC) and is Head Coach for University of Brighton Men and Women's
sides.
Simon has also spent time coaching in Namibia
for the Cricket Academy of Namibia and the Namibian Cricket Board. The role encompased the development of cricket and introduce
cricket to the Namibian people with particular empasis on previously disadvantaged communities. Simon also spent time working with the Namibia U19 squad.
Simon is currently
undertaking a part time MSc in Coaching at Loughborough University and is an ECB Tutor, Trainee ECB Field Based Trainer and Working in Schools
Tutor.

Alexia Walker MSc
ECB
Level III Coach
Alexia Walker is one of the youngest coaches to be currently
undertaking the ECB Level IV qualification. She has coached Sussex Women, England Womens Development Team, Loughborough UCCE
and Leicestershire CCC. In 2006, Alexia was employed with Leicestershire CCC as the Analyst for the First Team and during
her time with the team they won the Twenty20 Cup. She is currently the Cricket Performance Manager for Loughborough University
and is Assistant Coach to the Head UCCE Coach, Graham Dilley.
Alexia is still playing to the highest level and in 2007 played
for England A, captained a Super 4s side and was vice-captain for Sussex.
